Reflections on Hope and Action

As I reflect on the Blue School community’s participation in the NYC #climatestrike on September 20, 2019, I feel great pride: great pride in our students, great pride in our families and faculty and staff, great pride in the youth of the world, great pride in our community which believes students have important things to say and they are capable of making change happen.

"Not having hope is not an excuse for not doing anything. Even if there is no hope, we have to do something. One thing we need more than hope is action. Once we start to act, hope is everywhere." - Greta Thunberg

Today I have great hope.
